Soft Top Socks, Your Secret Comfort Weapon

By Glenn Hughes

We take everything about our health for granted. Whether it's the food that we eat or the clothes that we wear, we carry on regardless with scant regard for the consequences of our actions. Our feet are the most essential yet little regarded part of our bodies, carrying our full weight for the most part and being the extremity of the body are often forgotten

Elastic transformed people's lives. From its invention in the war years, people have grown accustomed to its many wonderful properties. From hosiery to elastic bands, elastic helps us by keeping things together (like bank notes) to holding our clothes up in underwear or other clothing. Socks are in the main elasticated, making sure that they stay up and not fall down

The human body works well when it is free to do the things it needs to do free from outside encumbrances. Expediency, however means that we need shoes to stop us hurting our feet on the ground, clothes to keep us warm and comfortable, not least decently attired, and looking our best at all times. The human body, particularly our circulatory system does not function well when it is constricted. Wearing socks that are too small for you for example leaves those tell tale marks around the bottom part of your leg where the elastic has cut in to the body

Socks need to have a means by which they stay on your legs without slipping down. Problems can occur if socks are too tight or made with elastic, especially when you suffer from circulatory problems or medical conditions like diabetes. You should never wear socks that are too tight for you as the blood supply gets restricted and problems naturally occur

A British manufacturer of quality clothing, HJ Hall has made some wonderful socks called soft top (or softop). They are supremely comfortable, stay up all day long, and yet do not contain elastic that may restrict your circulation. A wonderful British invention that will serve you well for years. You owe it to yourself to check them out. No wonder the British businessman always seems to carry themselves with confidence; their secret weapon is hidden under their trousers - 30310
